The Sun UK has published a short article about Philip Ridley’s Heartless and a video of Jim Sturgess performing the title song live at the Frightfest Film Festival on August 31. Silver screen make-up usually transforms men into warriors, pirates or magical characters. But JIM STURGESS had to get used to a very real-looking birthmark for his new flick Heartless.
In our exclusive poster, the heart-shaped blemish comes alive like fire as it covers the left side of his face. The film follows a young guy whose world is dominated by gang culture and random violence in East London. But soon he meets someone who tells him violence is far from random and there is a reason for everything. The legendary TIMOTHY SPALL and BAFTA-winner NOEL CLARKE also star in the movie.
